I've picked up a limoncello habit that may require rehab. It's Like eating lemon pie with a warm, fuzzy, kick. If it came in powdered form I would snort it. You can keep your gelato, give me limoncello!
We spent some time in Positano while waiting for a ferry to Capri. It's supposed to be the playground of the rich and famous. We saw plenty of rich, but no famous. We asked directions to the ferry dock. This little dog must have been listening in because he took us right where we wanted to go.
Me and my shadow.
The Isle of Capri is seriously beautiful. I know, it's touristy but, we're tourists, so that works.
The crew on the ferry to Capri were serving.......No! Are you kidding me? Limoncello! Why yes, I think I will.
Once in Ana Capri, we took the chairlift to the top of Mount Solerno. This was so much fun. Other than the views, the nicest part was the complete silence.
Look closely. That's Larsen hanging there.
At the very tippy top of Mount Solerno is a open air restaurant serving, among other things, ice cold limoncello!
And in Capri, another pause for limoncello and a delicious pizza.
Back in Praiano we stopped at a restaurant just up the street from our hotel. Larsen asked for vodka, water, and lots of ice. She returned with a huge bowl of ice and a bottle of Absolute and told Larsen, "Say when." He almost wept. It was like being at the Elks in the care of Judi, Jo Jo, or Carolyn. To top it off, she brought us two big servings of Aunt Berta's homemade lasagna. It was heavenly. And for desert, ....................limoncello.
The perfect end to a perfect day. Larsen and I stopped to admire the sunset.
